For ZION'S SAKE will I not hold my peace, and for JERUSALEM'S SAKE I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
2 AND THE GENTILES SHALL SEE THY RIGHTEOUSNESS, and all kings thy glory; and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.
3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken, neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate; but thou shalt be called HEPHZIBAH and thy land BEULAH: for the Lord delighteth in thee, AND THY LAND SHALL BE MARRIED.
2 And I, John, saw the holy city, NEW JERUSALEM, coming down from God out of Heaven, PREPARED AS BRIDE adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of Heaven, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them; and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.”
This proves God still has ZION in mind and the land New Jerusalem is the bride! The gentile "church" is NOT the bride, but New Jerusalem itself is the bride!
The people of Zion shall be called HEPHZIBAH, meaning-My delight is in thee. and the Land itself shall be called BEULAH-
Meaning. married. Beulah (/ˈbjuːlə/ BEW-lə), a feminine given name, originated from the Hebrew word (בְּעוּלָ֑ה bə'ūlāh), used in the Book of Isaiah as a prophesied attribute of the land of Israel. The King James Bible transliterates the word and translates it as "married" (see Isaiah 62:4).
I recently had a FaceBook conversation about the saying, "Only begotten Son". This is what I posted
"Most of us who believe in the Messiah don't claim to put him in a position above the Father! We do believe he is the only begotten son of The Father!
1 Corinthians 11:3
3. But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of every woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God"
I know the only begotten Son is referring to the Messiah, but of course when dealing with some Hebrews, and others who wrestle the scripture, sometimes to their own misunderstanding and own interpretation, You will be met with many debates. One example is when I was presented by one Hebrew with somewhat of a lite insult and a supposed WHAMMY . He stated
"Lies. Peep Psalms 2:7. So much contradiction in Christianity. It's you all haven't woken up to it by now."
Whenever someone tries to hit me with a "Whammy" , I try not to get in my flesh and give an immediate response, after all this is there "gotcha moment", that moment intended to throw a wrench in everything you are saying, or at the least, derail your whole conversation and train of thought. Many times when you answer them immediately, you will become angry , thus respond out of your flesh, and the whole conversation just becomes about defending your pride and stance on a subject. One more example is when Shawndell Joseph, tried provoking me to a fleshy response saying
"Tiffany Williams , not one time in the New Testament did TMH spoke...a voice ...not thus saith the LORD, but Psalm 2:7 " "I will declare the decree; the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee." So you won't be debating with me but rather, TMH, he said it not me...Happy face."
MY RESPONSE TO THAT "WHOA WHAMMY MOMENT"
"Shawndell Joseph, you are right about one thing, I AM NOT GOING TO DEBATE YOU ABOUT THE MESSIAH! In fact, I don't even recall tagging you into this conversation for a debate. A friend of mine asked me a question and I was answering him. No, i'm not going to debate you because THE DARKNESS COMPREHENDED IT NOT!
The revelation of who MESSIAH is spiritually discerned and can not be understood by the natural mind!
He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: FLESH AND BLOOD HATH NOT REVEALED IT UNTO THEE, BUT MY FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN."
I didn't hear from Shawndell Joseph anymore, but others kept trying to press me with the "Whammy or gottcha question" of what to make of Psalms 2:7, so I answered them not on their time, not on my time, but at the time that I believe God gave me the understanding.
HERE'S MY FINAL RESPONSE CONCERNING PSALMS 2:7, AND TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE DAVID WAS THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON ALSO
Below is what Psalms 2:7 says when using the Tanakn
41. While the Pharisees, were gathered together, Jesus asked them,
42. Saying, what think ye of Christ? whose son is he? The say unto him, The Son of David.
43. He saith unto them, How then doth David IN SPIRIT call him Lord, saying,
44. The LORD said unto my lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies the footstool?
45. If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?
46. And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask any more questions.
